Yes, Charlotte won the lottery this year and got to wear our famous Easter Bonnet! Doesn't it look lovely against her black and white coat? She was not even very upset about being whisked away from the remains of breakfast to sit in this little tableau for a few minutes! She has definitely matured from her early rather flighty and fractious personality...
As usual for Easter on the Canadian Prairies, our snow is not quite gone yet (but working on it). We can see the promise of Spring flowers beginning to show a bit of green above the ground --- can dandelions and grass be far behind? That is what the Prairie Pigs are hoping for! The one good thing about our very long Winters is that guinea pigs get to rediscover delicious tender greens fresh-picked from our own back garden every Spring, like a new and wonderful treat they have never tasted before.
We are all hoping you have something unique and delicious to munch on today, too, and maybe even a few rays of Spring sunshine to enjoy!
