Chaos at Piggyfriends. Episode One.

Florence says 
"Hey, Angelina, our pen has been moved!
 There's no wall behind us - just a lot of junk 
and look, Bosworth and Rafferty are right next door. 
Hi boys. Do you know why we have all been moved?

" I don't know, " says Bosworth. 
"Rafferty is too scared to come out of the box 
and this isn't even our box. Look at the state of it."

Florence says, "I'm going to find out what's going on. 
Will you come with me, Angelina?" 
" Not likely. It's too scary out there. 
Besides, Slave is going to give me a pedicure
 later today and I might miss lunch and....er....." 
" Never mind," says Florence. 
" I'll ask Lotte and Lola. They'll come"

"I'll come," says Lola. Lotte can stay here
 and pretend to be me. Now, where is Slave's camera?

(Observant readers will now know 
what we were plotting over breakfast.)

" We are off to find out what's going on in the pigroom," 
say Florence and Lola, " are you coming?" 
" I'll just finish my breakfast," says Bosworth 
" but Rafferty is staying here. 
He can keep Angelina company"

" Hello Polo!" say Florence and Lola
 " We are off on adventure. Sow Power!!"
 " Take care!" says Polo.

We are 6!

old today. Who can they be?

Garnet and Petunia have been at Piggyfriends since they were little piglets. In case you are wondering about Petunia's coat, she was part of a huge RSPCA rescue. All the little piggies had dreadful coats and, although most of her coat grew back in, she has always had a couple of bare patches. Garnet was unwanted by his breeder as he has slight entropion, which doesn't bother him one bit. They are dearly loved members of the Piggyfriends clan.

Hi all,

We are so excited that we’ve been chosen for this calender. Our slave takes pigtures of us all the time and sometimes it’s very annoying but hey, don’t we look gorgeous this month?

Before we take a nap again we wanted to thank you for voting for guineapig shelter ‘t Kuufke. As you may know, Jimmy spent the first 5 months of his life there before our slave fell in love with him. Pepper only spent a week there before slave matched her with Jimmy. And 3,5 years later, we still have a great time together!

Piggie(s) of the Month: Roos

This month calendar piggy of the month is my own Roos!

Agent Tortoise having a nap,
Agent Wheeker can just be seen below

I think it was this pigture of unknown piggies to me,
that made us enthusiastic about the gorgeous red color
(golden agouti) the pig on the right has.

Roos came to us when she was a few months old.
When Chico died Mieke got her as a
birthday present for dad... they get along great

Roos is very sweet, and when she knows
you she looves a chin rub!

We really like this pigture as she looks so sweet,
and her color looks pretty much as it actually is.
Often it does not look so pretty in pigtures

Roos and Berke are almost the same age, and they love
 to do zoomies around the cage when fresh hay
is coming their way

When you pet her, or rub her nose she does the cutest thing. Once you stop rubbing she will lift her head as if to say ' Hey, don't stop!'...

Another piggy bum

Here is Agent Mystery aka Otto. We can tell that this is his bum as a carrot is disappearing at the other end. Like Agent Zeppelin, we are often unsure as to which end is which. As long as he knows, then that's OK.

 

We are all worried that more us of are to be subjected to this indignity but, if there is a bonus carrot on offer, maybe we won't mind.

Piggie Behinds

I've been enjoying this topic so much. All the piggies have beautiful behinds! Please keep them coming.

I used to take a lot of pictures of my herd. There was always a point where they were just done with the session. The following pictures are the result. I've entitled the file "pigs as they wish to be seen." Looking at them always makes me chuckle! (The fronts were cute too.)

When we enlisted to be Undercover Agents, we thought that it would involve something with a little more excitement and a lot less embarrassment but we do have lettuce leaves in front of us so it can't be all bad.
