This little orange and white piggy was a gift from our pigsitter, her eldest son. He is sitting on some flowery fleece and has not made a mess with some beetroot.
She says that she cannot start it yet as she has a half finished picture on her frame at the moment but as soon as that one is finished, she will start making the piggy pigture.
A package arrived in the mail and guess what was inside. Another little piggy, twin to the first one......
....except that this little piggy is a tricolour. This one came from our one time Junior Slave, who lives in the US now. They did not know what each other had bought as a gift and they chose almost identical piggies. What a coincidence!

The Junior Slaves have really outdone themselves --- those plush piggies are so cute, and how nice that there are two for company.
ReplyDeleteThe needlepoint pigture looks very nice even without the thread, but it would be wonderful to see it finished someday, as long as it does not mean fewer snacks!

DeleteThe plush piggies are very cute. What a thoughtful family! As you say, it's easy to find a good present for a piggy person. When I changed jobs this year, I was given two plush piggies, quite independently of each other. My friends knew what I liked. I have no idea how to attach a photo but one is a grey and white semi-long hair and the other one is black and white. They are far less messy than the "real" Squeakers!
