Friday video: Daily Guinea pig routine

Hi guys,

This one is a bit long, but our test slaves (M, Mikey and Penny) really enjoyed watching it, so we hope you do too!

  1. Did everyone notice how the piggies ate up every scrap of lettuce before they started on the carrots.

A very nice piggy set up but they don't seem to have any hay to snuggle in for naps. We like to sleep in a pile of hay however warm the weather is.

I really enjoyed this clip --- I love seeing how other slaves handle all the regular piggy chores, and I've picked up many creative ideas from them, like unusual items that can be pressed into service as hay racks or piggy houses.
In this one, I really liked how quickly and efficiently the slave prepared the veggies for the piggy snacks, with very little muss and fuss. (I waste huge amounts of time trimming and arranging my pig veggies on little plates, which I bet does not matter a bit to my peegs!)
I did wonder about a few things, like why serve the grass dried instead of fresh? And do many people feed beetroot to piggies?

  3. We get the occasional beetroot from Slave's garden in the summer. Watch out if you feed it as it turns our urine red and this might scare an unwary Slave.

We don't care if our food is arranged. Just throw it in please and let us get at it!

We hope that the Prairie Pigs appreciate all your hard work!
