That's why we switched back from vet bed to bedding. It also got really dirty, throwing away newspapers is so much easier (and feel cleaner, less handling of befouled matter)...
But maybe you were tunneling under the fleece, or eating it?
With the number of piggies here at Piggyfriends, our Slave uses newspaper and hay as she would never have the time to wash fleece. Paper and hay is quick to replace and we can have a clean cage every day so maybe your Slave feels the same?
We suspect Slave got fed up with all the washing or hay in machine? Mummy always complaining about this.

ReplyDeleteWe are guessing that you kept making nice tunnels in the fleece. And sometimes humanes dont understand the need to make a fleece tunnel
