Hobbies - Keeping younger pigglies off my hay, grass cutting
Anything else you would like to say - As a senior pig, I want older pigs to have more food and hay than the younger upstarts and for them to do as they are told.

Alpaca pigs are long curly haired pigs that come in many different colours. Mummy has to take me to get my hair cut at the vets or else it gets too tangled. I would have a lovely fringe as well if the pesky little pigs hadn't chewed it off.

 Alpacas are long coated rexoid peruvian piggies they should have 2 rosettes that are placed so that the hair comes over the face.  The coat should be soft springy and even with undamaged ends and a parting.

The hair should be unmatted so a comb can easily pass through.

The head should be short and broad with bright eyes and drooping well set ears.

Me says Aerial looks at Angelic as she is.

The rescue that I lived in before becoming a Piggyfriend is having an open day this month to raise money for their cause. It is thanks to them that I and several other piggies and mice live here now so do you think that you could post a link on your blog? It is on Sunday, June 27th. from 10 to 5.

Raystede helps all kinds of animals from mice to horses and everything in between. They even find homes for hundreds of battery hens each year and treat and release many injured wild animals and birds. My friend Agent 101 visited the rescue with Algernon Rat when he was staying with us and his photos can be seen on the Remembering Alge blog.

Hi Agent F,

I would be delighted to join the list of secret agents. Slave will have told you that I am not exactly what you are looking for so if a proper smooth coated DEW contacts you, I will step aside and he/she can take my place. Slave also wishes you good luck in finding a Lunkarya, as she has never seen one except in pigtures.

Slave has lots of pigtures of me but the only one not showing the ginger ring around my left eye is the one that I have attached, which is of me with my best friend, Copper. If this is not suitable, let me know and I will borrow her camera so that Copper can take a better one.

You will guess why I chose this name but I wonder if our overseas friends will know why.
I was born in January 2009, the same as my friend, Copper, with whom I share a pen. We both arrived at our Rodentologists on the same day when we were 5 weeks old and were rehomed here together.
We live at Piggyfriends in S.E.England.
My favourie food is everything except for carrots, which Copper eats for me.
My favourite toy is Copper as we play together all the time when we are not eating.
Hobby? Well I suppose that must be eating and climbing up the wire of our pen shouting for more to eat. I am watchpig for our room and let the others know when Slave is coming with our meals.

My eyes really are dark but Slave's camera makes them look a little red. Probably something to do with all that red from Copper's coat. She can't find the disk to re-install Photoshop on her new computer so I hope that this is OK.

Would you believe a DEW should be pure white with no other colours in the hair (dont turn around Agent Minty) the hair should be smooth and the eyes should be black, the ears and foot pads should be pink.

OK so we never lost power but you know what me means

Mummy is still fed up as she cant leave the house without getting stuck in road works and she cant understand why they are digging up the same roads that they dug up less than a year ago.

It must be a human thing, why would you want to leave the house unless it was to go to the garden???

Talking of gardens while we have had no internet we have been very busy mowing the lawn!!

Upgrades Grrrr

Mummy has just found out that all the phone lines in our street are being upgraded, this means we will be without internet from Wednesday - Friday or possible even Saturday.

Dont these humans know how important my internet is???

The Hay Review Part 6

My 6th hay is Oxbow Hay Cakes.

These are compressed cubes of hay made with 100% timothy hay, they come in 454g bag and cost Mummy £5.30

Hay cakes are no good for bedding rofl you cant really hide under them but you can use them as a pillow, if you can stop other naughty piggy from eating them out from under you (Agent Ghost naming no names)

Mummy gives us the occasional hay cake as a treat along side our regular hay.

These are yummy and give your teeth a good work out breaking them out.

This is an old human saying, me is not sure what it means because as soon as we get sun (like this weekend) Mummy gets out her deck chair, sunglasses and a book.................. and thats it nothing.

Me has been blogging for a whole year now!!!

How Do You Eat Yours?

Humans here in the UK have a chocolate called Cadburys Cream Egg all the adverts ask how they eat them, so me has decided to find out how piggies eat different food.

My first how do you eat yours? is a general question, when your human gives you fresh food what do you do with it?

Mummy gives us a selection like carrot, romaine and pepper....... Ghost will grab one piece say carrot and run off to a corner to eat it, me will flop out by the food bowl and start munching whatever me likes, by the time Ghost gets back me has eaten at least double what he has.

When me was an only pig me used to grab all the fresh food out of the bowl and drag it to the sleeping area, me would then eat it all there.

So how do you eat yours??

The Hay Review Part 5

My 5th hay is Pure Pastures Meadow Hay this is what I call a "normal" hay as opposed to a treat.

It comes in a 1.8kg bag and Mummy pays £2 for it at the market, me suspects it would cost more at the shops.

Pure Pastures has long strands which me loves it is light green in colour and soft enough to sleep on.

This is my favourite "normal" hay and me would give it 10 out of 10.

Mummy is Back

Well she now has no wisdom teeth left, does that mean she will be a really dumb human? What a silly place to keep wisdom in your teeth.

Yesterday she looked like a lopsided hamster, today she looks more normal but is complaining her mouth is sore.

Me is not surprised, me glad my teeth are fine.

More important than Mummy me is now up to 1131g so even more than when I started losing weight hurray

Me is Back

Mean Mummy banned me from puter til me had put all my weight back on, so last night me munched good and me is now 1123g (me was 1125g but even Mummy cant complain about that)

Me is also keeping healthy by exercising heehee this means chasing Ghost all over the cage and then nicking the warm spot me chased him out of.

Did you know humans get toothy problems to? Mummy has to go to hospital on Monday to have a wisdom tooth removed coz its growing under the gum into her other teeth ouch.

She has to have a general anaesthetic and then will need looking after until it wears off she not allowed out for a week!!!

Me hopes Daddy is capable of looking after us all.

Another Update

Agent F is back up to 1081g, he is acting normally again.

That means he is chasing me and pulling my ears, I had more peace when he was ill.

Mummy has banned him from the puter until he gets back to normal weight so he has 40g left to go.
