As experts in chicory eating, we think that these piggies must have chinese leaf as our chicory is much thinner than this. If it is chicory, we want the name of their supplier as our Slave must buy some immediately.
Thank you for the veggie ID. I don't think that the usual groceries here (Florida) carry either one unless we have a different name. I'm looking for some new and adventurous treats for Pico as he has decide that carrots are no longer acceptable. We've moved more into cilantro and cucumbers, but we will always try something new. Would either of you know if bok choy is safe for guinea pigs Thank you again!
Not sure on the Bok Choy maybe the Piggyfriends can answer that, as some suggestions my boys love Romaine Lettuce, Bell Peppers and Apple as a treat if you look on the right hand bar on this blog we have the guinea pig good food guide which has posts about different foods and how often they can be given
We haven't had Bok Choy but see no reason why Pico piggy should not try it. As it is in the brassica family of veggies, it might be a bit gassy so have a small portion and see if you like it. Please report back and let us know. We are always keen to try a new veggie.
We haven't seen this one before. Such a lot of lovely fuzzy piggies.
ReplyDeleteWell done Ghost for finding it!
What cute little furries!! Can I ask what they're eating? It doesn't look familiar. Thank you for the sweet video.
ReplyDeleteTo us it looks like chicory or Chinese leaf the bottom bit of the leaves we could be wrong
