Nominate a shelter!

Hi All,

Thank you all who bought an Undercover Guinea Pigs Calendar 2014! And of course every piggy and slave who supplied gorgeous pigtures making the calendar happen again.
If you haven't gotten a calendar yet, and still want one, you can still order! Use the form on the 'Order calendar 2014'

It is time to nominate the shelter to whom we will donate the money from selling the calendars...
So let us know who you want to nominate and why!

Last year we made posts for all the nominated shelter to tell you why you should vote for them, it would be nice if we can do that again!

Hugs to all the piggies,
Mieke, Janneke and M of this blog

  1. Last year , the shelter nominated by Piggyfriends was lucky enough to be voted the winner. We can't nominate Palace Piggies again so we would like to suggest the piggy rescue mentioned by Agent Ghost in his blog post on December 15th.

This is the Excellent Adventure Sanctuary and you can read about them here.

We don't know them first hand ( paw ) as they are in Northampton, quite a way from us, but they would appear to be a very worthy recipient of our prize. Check them out and drool over the lovely piggies.

  4. If we understand dutch correctly you want to nominate t Kuufe shelter in the Nederlands which is great as we were going to nominate them due to the fact that they have been the second place shelter for the last 2 years lets hope this year they make it to number 1

  5. Yup, you understood that right, and if nobody had done that already we would have nominated them! As Ghost says t Kuufke, the Dutch Shelter, was second place last times, so we are kind of rooting for them

Above are the CT Guinea Pig Rescue's new year mission statement followed by a link to their website. I would like to recommend Cindy's rescue once again. It is small and struggling of late, but they are truly passionate about helping piggies in need. Both Joanne and I adopted many piggies from Cindy. Please consider giving your vote to the CT GP Rescue!

    1. It is going to be so hard to vote for just one shelter as they are all so deserving. The CT rescue is the one that we vote for each morning on the Animal Rescue website's shelter challenge. We adore their logo - such a sweet little piggy being loved.
