Me Is Fed Up

With the Big Freeze

Tuesday night Mummy could see some grass in the garden, Wednesday morning it was all white again. Today it looks like it is melting but weather woman says more ice to come.

Me wants summer to come so me can go and munch the grass again.

How is the weather for all you other agents?

  1. Agents Big Red, Thorntons, Badger and Carrot are throughly fed up with this awful weather. Slave usually cuts grass for us every day, even when it is raining but she has been unable to find us any grass for ages.

Just when we thought that the snow was receding, yesterday we woke up to an enormous pile of it outside our house.

There has been a shortage of piggy veggies in the supermarket in our nearest town and the only shop in our village mends vacuum cleaners. Not very useful for piggies so Slave has to drive on the icy roads to get our supplies.

We are sick of eating greens and, once the grass has returned, will probably never eat them again.

Slave says "Roll on summer." Brrrr!!!

  2. Oh us misfits are so tired of this dreary winter also. So much snow we have recieved this winter.. blah... Mommie works at a grocery store so we are never with out our "special" treats of broc, carrot, tomato, green leaf and red leaf lettuce, green pepper and of course we love those little orange things called "cuties" tangerines. We yell really really loud here every morning to make sure mommie and daddie hear how good our lungs are to get our veggie plate :) In summer mommie grows our veggies in her garden:) yummy!!!!Time for summer to get here!

We are fed up too! We have come to expect a daily heap of freshly cut grass and now we get very unsuitable substitutes. We try them for a day or two, then turn up our noses at them, even though they cost a fortune. Roll on the thaw, then the slave will be able to tell whether our bigger pen is repairable or not. It collapsed under the weight of snow on the netting roof.

  4. We are sorry to read about the damage to the Surrey Squeakers' big pen. Lots of fruit cages around here collapsed too and your pen is similar in shape to those.

Our lawn has begun to reappear but from what we can see so far it seems to be very muddy and to have been wrecked by squirrels digging through the snow for their cache of nuts.

    We all hate winter.

  5. We have grass again today! Ok so it is not the A1 quality that we have a right to expect but it is green and Slave dried it in front of the fire so that it was safe for us to eat.

Maybe we will cancel today's planned riot.

Agents Badger, Big Red, Carrot and Thorntons.

We have grass again too! Apparently it was hard to cut because it's lying very flat after being squashed by the snow, but it wasn't too bad quality. Much better than those expensive veggie "treats" we've been having to put up with.

    Agents Patchwork, Whorlwind and Frothy.

  8. We have snow forecast for tomorrow. Not fair to piggies. Those supermarket veggies are just not good enough.
