Bizarre Animal ER

Check out the brave little piggy in this show he appears about 5 minutes in to episode 8.

Strangely his name is Bubbles just like Mummy's first piggy, but he looks just like me without the crown.

Me didnt think much of his Daddy grrrrrrrrrrrrr

  1. Just watched the video. Weren't they lucky to have a vet that knows what she is doing?

If that had happened in our house, daddy slave would have been right out the door.

Such a brave little piggy. Good to see a happy ending.

  4. I wonder why this doesn't work for you two? I often send links to BBC news items, including videos, to friends overseas without any problem.

IPlayer doesn't cache very well, at least not here where our internet connection is always flaky but it gets there in the end.

My browser is Firefox - maybe that makes a difference.

    What say you Agent F?

  5. Hey Piggyfriends,

It says we can't watch it because we're not in UK.
We use Firefox as well, so that's not it.

We tried to find it on Youtube, but not allowed to watch it there because of copyright restrictions either.
We did also find this one, but that says content does not seem to work for us. Maybe it works for others?

I'm afraid we are just not allowed to see it...

  6. It is a shame that stories cannot be seen elsewhere. Quick resume.

I don't normally watch this programme as it is too gory for me but this story was about a little piggy who had a nasty stone. He was in pain and passing blood. The mother and daughter were talking about him and commented that you could not put a price on love for the piggy and had to pay enormous vet bills. The father said that the price would be £15 which was the cost of the piggy in the first place. They did not chuck him out ( shame on them ).

They showed an enormous stone that the vet took out and a while afterwards they had to go through the whole procedure again as he got another stone.

The vet then put him on a low calcium diet and told the owners to mash up poo with pineapple juice to give the piggy.

I cannot see why that should prevent a stone but the low calcium diet was right.

Nice to see a competent vet for a change.
